Ocean Entertainment

YOUR DESTINATION FOR ADDICTIVE VIEWING EXPERIENCES PRODUCED IN ATLANTIC CANADA.

Ocean Entertainment has produced award-winning television for over 20 years, with a total of over 400 broadcast hours worldwide. Our shows will take you down hidden paths, to the depths of the sea and to delicious destinations around the globe.

Our team is made up of talented, experienced people both in front of and behind the camera, and our full service-production company oversees everything from show development, to production, to post-production.

Ocean has built a solid reputation for producing food series like French Food at Home, Chef at Home, as well as remodelling shows like Family Renovation. Recently, we’ve refined the true crime genre, producing docu-reality series To Catch a Killer and Did He Do It. Ocean produced five seasons of award-winning comedy series The Candy Show, a multi-camera studio shoot featuring 90+ talented musical acts and performers, all filmed in front of a live studio audience. Last but not least, our documentary slate includes captivating mysteries like the Shag Harbour UFO Incident, and historical films like The Halifax Explosion and Childhood Lost.

Ocean’s small but mighty team are experienced service producers, having created series for Discovery US, Investigation Discovery, and Travel Channel. Our local Nova Scotia crews are hard working and resourceful; always showcasing the very best our province has to offer.

Our shows have appeared on networks like Discovery, HGTV, Food Network, Cooking Channel, CBC, and AMI-TV, just to name a few. Ocean’s recognitions include six Gemini Awards, two James Beard Awards, and numerous film festival prizes.
