Ocean Entertainment has been producing award-winning series and documentaries for two decades, always striving to produce unique and compelling content for our clients and their viewers. We build our team with highly talented and experienced people, both in front of, and behind the camera, guaranteeing our consistently high production values.

While Ocean has built a solid reputation for producing hundreds of hours of award-winning lifestyle, food and renovation series, like French Food at Home, Chef at Home and Family Renovation, our catalogue also boasts a variety of other genres.

True crime docu-reality series To Catch A Killer and Did He Do It produced in 2013-14 show off the team’s strong story-telling and dramatic sensibilities. Ocean has produced five seasons of the award-winning variety/ comedy series The Candy Show, a multi-camera studio shoot featuring over 90 talented musical acts and performers, all filmed in front of a live studio audience. And, did you know that of the most inquired-about, and consistently popular projects in our catalogue is the documentary Shag Harbour UFO Incident?

President & Executive Producer

JohannaJohanna is President of Ocean Entertainment and Ocean Digital. She has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary and is the key strategist for the Ocean group. As an Executive Producer, Johanna oversees all the hiring and budgets and personally guarantees the highest quality for all projects generated by Ocean. She is a member of the Canadian Film and Television Producers Association, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and The Canadian Independent Film Caucus. She also sits on the board of the Atlantic Chapter of EO (Entrepreneur Organization) and is a member of IWF (International Women’s Federation). Email Johanna: johanna@ocean.ca

JENNIFER COMEAU
Director of Client Services & Development

Jennifer Comeau, Director of Client Services & Development at Ocean EntertainmentJennifer joined Ocean Entertainment in 2006 as Post Production Supervisor. With 18 years of industry experience in distribution, marketing, production and post production, she manages Ocean Digital, a full-service post video and audio facility. She is client liaison and is involved in the development and production of Ocean’s award-winning television series. Jennifer was previously Animation Producer at Collideascope Digital; Director of Marketing & Distribution with Topsail Entertainment, and Sales & Marketing Coordinator with Salter Street Films International.
